Prólogo ao dicionário Clave · Gabriel García Márquez
Revista Confraria, no. 11, Nov./Dec. 2006 (Confraria do Vento; ISSN 1808-6276) · ES>PT-BR
Prologue written in 1997 for the Clave dictionary, published by the Spanish house SM, and never before published in Portuguese. García Márquez recalls how his grandfather, corrected at a circus about a dromedary, went to settle the matter in the dictionary; compares definitions of “amarillo” (yellow) from 1611 to 1976; praises María Moliner's solitary work; and makes the case for dictionaries designed with children in mind as well.
